Enrichment Activities

We believe learning outside the classroom is as essential to students’ development as learning within the classroom, and so ensure our students experience a wealth of extracurricular opportunities. We offer timetabled opportunities for students to be involved in Gardening, Bee Keeping, Archery as well as participating in the SEN/SEMH football league.  Visitors and guest speakers are warmly welcomed into to school to provide pupils with inspirational talks and hands on demonstrations.

The school has a comprehensive enrichment offer to complement the taught curriculum in subjects.

This includes study support lessons, trips and working with subject experts. Furthermore, we have employed a dedicated outdoor education intervention teacher who will work primarily over Hive (see Bespoke Education policy and intent statement) but also provide timetabled lessons at KS3 to offer bespoke opportunities at an earlier stage. At Primary, students have access to forest school, sensory sessions and off site educational visits.
